Résumé du poste

Texas Instruments Malaysia is seeking a Mold and Symbol Trim Form (EOL) Process Engineer to lead the digital design of our Mold and STF manufacturing processes within the MES project. This multi‑phase role includes a 1 month TI orientation followed by 1–2 years on the MES implementation team, then transitioning back to production to optimize yield using digital controls.

You will work with Mold equipment and STF tooling, define process flows, and collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on semiconductor process experience with Mold equipment (e.g., Towa, ASM) AND/OR Symbol Trim Form equipment (e.g., ASM, Besi).
  • Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control and process release strategies.

Responsabilités

  • MES Implementation (Project Phase): Drive EOL manufacturing process design (Mold and STF) within the MES. Define process flows, routing, material handling, and traceability.
  • Control & Exception Handling: Define digital process controls and exception handling logic (e.g., Mold cure excursions and STF dimension/trimming holds, rework, and material disposition).
  • Validation & Alignment: Align requirements with manufacturing and quality teams. Validate proposed digital workflows and support UAT and deployment for both process areas.
  • Sustaining (Post‑Project Phase): Transition to production to manage process stability and use MES‑driven data to optimize Mold and STF parameters to improve yield and efficiency.

Description du poste

Mold and Symbol Trim Form (EOL) Process Engineer (MES Project)

Change the world. Love your job.
Texas Instruments is seeking a Process Engineer to lead the digital design of our Mold and Symbol Trim Form (STF) manufacturing processes. This is a unique, multi‑phase role: following a 1 month TI orientation familiarizing with TI systems while being deployed into a critical MES implementation project team for 1–2 years. Once the system is live, you will return to a production role, using your knowledge of digital process controls to drive yield and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MES Implementation (Project Phase): Drive EOL manufacturing process design (Mold and STF) within the MES. Define process flows, routing, material handling, and traceability.
  • Control & Exception Handling: Define digital process controls and exception handling logic (e.g., Mold cure excursions and STF dimension/trimming holds, rework, and material disposition).
  • Validation & Alignment: Align requirements with manufacturing and quality teams. Validate proposed digital workflows and support UAT and deployment for both process areas.
  • Sustaining (Post‑Project Phase): Transition to production to manage process stability and use MES‑driven data to optimize Mold and STF parameters to improve yield and efficiency.
