Introduction

Avanade is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Moden Work Architect to deliver Microsoft Unified Support services. The focus areas will be Microsoft Copilot, M365, and Intune / Endpoint Manager.

The ideal candidate will drive architecture, implementation, and optimization engagements with enterprise customers across Southeast Asia. Proficiency in English and/or Bahasa is essential to support customer communications effectively.

What you’ll do

Customer Engagement & Insights:

  • Gather customer insights on technical environment, business needs, and competitive landscape.

  • Map Microsoft solutions (Copilot, M365, Intune) to customer outcomes and digital transformation goals.

  • Act as the Voice of the Customer (VOC), raising feedback and blockers through structured channels.

Architecture Design & Deployment:

  • Lead architecture design sessions and solution proposals for:

  • Microsoft Copilot (deployment strategy, readiness assessments, user enablement).

  • Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online).

  • Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager (device management, compliance policies).

  • Guide customers from planning to production deployments.

  • Identify and resolve technical blockers, managing risks and quality throughout engagements.

Practice Development:

  • Contribute to IP development, best practice frameworks, and reusable assets.

  • Share solution insights and technical learnings with internal teams.

Trusted Advisor Role:

  • Build impactful relationships with customer stakeholders and technical specialists.

  • Provide strategic advisory and challenge customers constructively when needed.

  • Position Microsoft’s strengths against competitors to drive solution adoption.

Thought Leadership & Community Engagement:

  • Participate in industry events, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

  • Mentor junior team members on technical and non-technical areas.

Customer Success Focus:

  • Ensure customers’ environments are modern, secure, and optimized.

  • Deliver solutions that enable value realization and positive customer satisfaction.

Skills and experiences

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in cloud and Modern Work solutions.

  • Deep expertise in:

  • Microsoft Copilot (or equivalent AI-driven productivity tools).

  • Microsoft 365 E3/E5 features, Security & Compliance, Information Protection.

  • Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager and related M365 management tools.

  • Strong customer engagement experience across architecture, consulting, or technical pre-sales.

  • Proven experience handling critical customer issues and escalations.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and/or Bahasa.

About you

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with AI-based solutions and digital workplace transformations.

  • Power Platform experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust security frameworks.

  • Scripting experience (PowerShell) preferred.

  • Relevant certifications (MS-100, MS-101, SC-300, or Copilot certifications).
