Job summary

CBRE Malaysia is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will support preventive maintenance, repairs and system improvements as part of the Engineering and Technical Services function.

The role requires SKM or Technical Diploma, 1–2 years in building maintenance, and the ability to travel within the southern region and standby 24/7. You will follow safety codes and work closely with operations teams.

Qualifications

• SKM or Technical Diploma in building maintenance.
• 1–2 years of related experience in electrical, HVAC and building maintenance.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting heavy loads.
• Good communication and basic computer skills (MS Office).

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What You'll Do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:

• SKM or Technical Diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience in building maintenance.
• Strong experience in electrical, HVAC & building maintenance.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
