Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a software developer to build mobile applications using React Native and other hybrid frameworks in Selangor. You will work on the full app lifecycle from concept to release and support, writing clean code and integrating third-party libraries and APIs.

The ideal candidate has at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT with 2 years of related experience, solid knowledge of OOP, and the ability to work independently. Malaysian citizenship is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Knowledge in React Native or any hybrid frameworks.
• Experience with third-party libraries, Application Programming Interface (API), Google Console e.g. Developer Console, Apple Developer Program and Google Play Console.
• Competent in expeo.io library.
• Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) design principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem solving attitude.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support).
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code.
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions.
• Write unit and User Interface tests to identify malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
• Design interfaces to improve user experience.
• Liaise with product development team to plan new features.
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards.
• Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols.
• Perform any other related task as assigned by the company.
