Job summary

Arbeit Group in Malaysia seeks a Senior Mobile Engineer to design and implement native Android and iOS applications. You will build features with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose for Android and Swift/SwiftUI for iOS, ensure robust architectures, and improve performance and reliability across the mobile stack.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong testing and CI/CD skills, and fluency in English. Eligible to work in Malaysia, with opportunities to contribute to product strategy in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building native mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of either Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with structured concurrency, asynchronous programming, and app lifecycle management.
• Experience with mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, unidirectional data flow, modular architecture).
• Experience integrating REST APIs, analytics, notifications, and remote services.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD, and source control (Git).

Mobile Engineer / Mobile App Developer (Android & iOS)

Arbeit Group is currently looking for talented Mobile Engineers to join an exciting product development team in Malaysia.

Open positions include Android Developer (3 Headcounts) and iOS Developer (2 Headcounts).

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain mobile application features for Android and iOS platforms

Develop modern mobile applications using Kotlin & Jetpack Compose (Android) and Swift & SwiftUI (iOS)

Design reusable, scalable, and maintainable mobile components

Integrate applications with backend services, authentication mechanisms, notifications, analytics, and remote configuration

Contribute to application architecture, technical design, and engineering best practices

Improve application performance, stability, maintainability, and user experience

Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit, integration, and UI testing

Troubleshoot production issues, crashes, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, technical discussions, demos, and retrospectives

About you

5+ years of experience building native mobile applications

Strong knowledge of either Swift and SwiftUI for iOS development, or Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android development.

Experience with structured concurrency, asynchronous programming, and application lifecycle management.

Experience with mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, unidirectional data flow, or modular architecture.

Experience integrating REST APIs, authentication, analytics, notifications, and remote services.

Strong knowledge of automated testing, continuous integration, and CI/CD.

Experience with Git, pull requests and code reviews.

Ability to troubleshoot complex app, performance, and production issues.

Experience using GitHub for source control, pull requests, code reviews, CI/CD workflows and GitHub Issues for task management

Fluency in English
