Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an enthusiastic Mobile Developer to join our BPA team to build scalable Flutter applications for iOS, Android, and Huawei ecosystems, delivering exceptional user experiences.

You will design and implement features with robust state management, integrate RESTful APIs, manage offline data, collaborate with product and QA, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to push updates to Google Play, App Store, and Huawei AppGallery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Flutter/Dart mobile development experience.
• Experience deploying to Google Play, Apple App Store, and Huawei AppGallery.
• Experience with state management options like BLoC, Riverpod, or Provider.
• Experience with REST APIs and local databases (Hive/SQLite).
• Familiar with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Strong ownership and ability to communicate technical concepts.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic Mobile Developer to join our team. You will work closely with our Business Process Automation (BPA) Team to build scalable applications, deliver exceptional user experiences, and contribute to digital transformation within the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Cross-Platform Engineering: Design, build, and maintain efficient, high-quality Flutter applications optimized across iOS, Android, and Huawei (HMS) ecosystems.
• API & Data Persistence: Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and mobile databases (e.g., Hive, SQLite) for seamless offline and online performance.
• Store Policy & Compliance Tracking: Continuously monitor evolving developer policies, target API requirements, privacy mandates, and review guidelines across the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery (e.g., target SDK updates, data safety disclosures, AI privacy guidelines) to ensure uninterrupted app compliance and smooth submission approvals.
• UI/UX Implementation: Work with UI/UX designers to translate designs into responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect interface components.
• Scalable State Management: Implement and enforce robust architectural patterns using state management frameworks (e.g., BLoC, Riverpod, Provider).
• Performance Optimization: Diagnose bottlenecks, optimize frame rates and memory usage, and maintain high standards for code readability and maintainability.
• Security Standards: Apply mobile security best practices, secure storage protocols, and data protection standards across all projects.
• Technical Ownership: Lead technical discussions, propose architectural improvements, and author/maintain detailed Technical Design Documentation (TDD).
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner closely with Product, UI/UX, Backend, and QA teams to refine feature specs and estimate deliverables accurately.
• CI/CD & Automation: Set up and manage automated testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments to Google Play, App Store, and Huawei AppGallery.
• Mentorship & Growth: Mentor team members, participate in code reviews, and stay ahead of emerging Flutter and Dart trends to guide technical direction.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Flutter & Dart Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional, hands-on mobile development experience specifically dedicated to Flutter and Dart.
• Multi-Store Deployment: Demonstrated experience preparing, testing, and deploying apps to Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Huawei AppGallery (AppGallery Connect & HMS Core integration).
• State Management Mastery: Practical experience with state management solutions like BLoC/Cubit, Riverpod, or Provider.
• Database & API Proficiency: Strong experience with RESTful service integration and local databases (SQLite, Hive, Isar, etc.).
• Testing & Automation: Hands-on familiarity with writing unit/widget tests and using CI/CD tools for mobile release automation.
• Soft Skills & Ownership: Proven ability to manage project timelines independently, articulate technical concepts clearly, and lead technical discussions.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have)

• Native Development: Hands-on experience with native mobile codebases (Swift for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android).
• Flavor & Build Management: Experience managing build flavors/schemes to separate GMS (Google) and HMS (Huawei) dependencies effectively.
• Advanced Architecture: Experience with Clean Architecture principles, SOLID design patterns, or modular monorepos (e.g., Melos).
