Job summary

Powtech Solution in Malaysia is seeking a Flutter developer to design, build, and test cross‑platform mobile apps using Flutter, Firebase, and Google Cloud. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and operations to deliver intuitive, high‑quality applications.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of Flutter experience, strong problem‑solving abilities, and good English communication. You will stay updated with Flutter releases and APIs to ensure robust app performance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary graduate in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of cross‑platform Flutter development experience.
• Proficient with reactive UI using Provider/GetX/Bloc or similar.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs and usage.
• Working knowledge of Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions).
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• English fluency preferred for technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Flutter applications using Firebase and Google Cloud services.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, operations, and other developers to deliver feature‑rich apps.
• Integrate UI/UX designs to ensure responsive cross‑platform experiences.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
• Integrate backend services and third‑party libraries via RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, well‑documented code following best practices and maintainable standards.
• Stay updated with Flutter updates and emerging cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Applications Development: Research, design, develop, and unit test our applications using Flutter, Firebase, and Google Cloud services primarily.
• Collaborative Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, operations and support managers, and other developers, to deliver feature-rich, intuitive, and user-friendly applications.
• UI/UX Design Integration: Work closely with the UI/UX design team to implement responsive user interfaces and ensure a seamless cross-platform user experience.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and alleviate system performance bottlenecks to ensure application stability and responsiveness.
• API Integration: Integrate backend services, RESTful APIs, and third-party libraries throughout our applications to provide reactive user interfaces.
• Ensure Code Quality: Write clean and efficient code, following best practices in coding standards and clear documentation for ease of maintenance and enhancements.
• Stay Updated: Keep up to date with Flutter updates, cloud services, emerging application design and development trends, and software engineering best practices.
