Job summary

Lavu Tech Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a mobile automation tester to design, develop, and maintain Appium-based test scripts for its mobile applications. You will execute automated and manual tests, validate functionality and performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define robust testing strategies.

Ideal candidates bring experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript, strong QA methodologies, and familiarity with REST APIs.

Qualifications

• Proven mobile automation testing experience with Appium for mobile apps.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Familiarity with RESTful API testing and mobile OS platforms (iOS/Android).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications.
• Execute automated and manual tests to validate application functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA to define test requirements and strategies.
• Identify, document, and track bugs found during testing.
• Perform regression and compatibility testing across various mobile devices.
• Maintain and update test frameworks and tools to align with app changes.
• Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging testing tools, techniques, and best practices.
