Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) is seeking an Automation Tester with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Robot Framework and Appium to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts. The role involves creating reusable libraries, developing Python extensions, and performing API testing, across emulators and real devices.

You will collaborate with development and QA teams to analyze defects, ensure thorough reporting, and optimize test coverage in a general shift role on a 1-year extendable contract basis

Qualifications

• 2-4 years hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining test libraries and keywords.
• Experience with built-in libraries such as Collections, String and DateTime.
• Knowledge of custom library development using Python.
• Understanding of Robot Framework architecture and execution model.
• Experience with data-driven and keyword-driven testing approaches.
• Proficiency in Robot Framework reporting and logging mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts with Robot Framework.
• Create and maintain reusable test libraries and keywords.
• Develop custom Robot Framework libraries using Python.
• Automate Android testing with Appium.
• Run mobile tests on emulators, simulators and real devices.
• Perform API testing with Postman or similar tools.
• Generate and review Robot Framework reports and logs.
• Collaborate with dev, QA and project teams for defect analysis.
