Always Marketing (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer to join our product development team in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will contribute from concept to release for data-driven mobile applications. The role requires 3+ years of mobile development, proficiency with Ionic, TypeScript, Angular, APIs/JSON, and Azure cloud/DevOps experience. You will write clean code, implement tests, and collaborate in an Agile team to deliver robust, scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of mobile development in production.
• Robust, extensible and reusable design.
• Mobile features like location, push notifications, camera, cross-app interaction.
• Ionic with TypeScript and Angular experience.
• Knowledge of APIs and JSON-based backend services.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with SQL, Git, DevOps and Azure cloud.
• Willing to learn new skills and technologies; agile team player.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Application Developer to join our product development team. If you are an experienced software/mobile application developer with a strong background in data-driven applications, who enjoys challenging, fast-paced projects in a well-known FMCG industry, we're looking for you!

Key Responsibility

• Support the entire software development lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support).
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean, well-documented code.
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of Mobile Development in a production capacity.
• Ensure design is robust, extensible and reusable.
• Mobile-specific functionality such as location, push notifications, camera interaction, and cross-app interaction.
• Experience with Ionic cross-platform framework using Typescript(language) and Angular (UI).
• Knowledge of backend web services technology such API & JSON.
• Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in SQL, Git, DevOps and Azure cloud environment.
• Desire and willingness to work on new skills and technologies.
• Self-motivated; able to work within an Agile, team environment.
