Job summary

6255 UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Machine Learning Operations engineer to build and integrate AI pipelines across traditional and generative models. You will work with data scientists and DevOps to design, deploy, and secure scalable AI infrastructure, with a focus on OpenShift, AWS, and observability tools.

Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and security is essential, as well as strong scripting in Python and Bash.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with Bitbucket, Jenkins and related tools.
• Experience with OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS) and security/compliance awareness in AI systems.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and ML tasks.
• Knowledge of API integration and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Langfuse, Elastic Stack, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry for observability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Linux shell scripting and Python.
• Build and maintain end-to-end DevOps pipelines.
• Ensure seamless deployment across cloud and on-prem environments (AWS/OpenShift).
• Integrate AI models into production using containerized platforms.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols for AI systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate AI workflows into engineering solutions.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Support CI/CD processes and infrastructure for AI model deployment and updates.
