About the Role

As an MLOps Engineer at MoneyLion, you will build and enhance our machine learning platform and infrastructure, leading deployment initiatives at scale. Your role involves designing, prototyping, and refining ML infrastructure to streamline the modeling lifecycle and establishing best practices in collaboration with AI DevOps, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and AI Engineers.
Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, and prototype MLOps practices, tools, and frameworks to accelerate ML workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to improve deployment processes.
• Enhance automation in ML development and deployment.
• Work with IT and DevOps to integrate infrastructure platforms.
• Set up monitoring systems for ML models in production and oversee model governance.
• Manage cloud infrastructure costs, optimize spending, and ensure transparency.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Ensure platform dependability, participating in on-call rotations for incident response.

About You

• Strong software fundamentals, experienced in enterprise software development, code review, TDD, and unit testing.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, preferably EKS, with a solid understanding of its architecture.
• Knowledge of best practices and new technologies to improve performance, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience designing applications for data analysts and scientists.
• Ability to maintain multiple codebases, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality code.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools like DVC, MLFlow, Metaflow, Ray is preferred.
