Job description

Ensure alignment of mill operations with Company and/or Group business goals.

Ensure processing parameters of the palm oil mill adhere to standards set by the Company.

Ensure quality of fruit, oil, and kernels meet standards set by the Company and MPOB.

Monitor production of oil, kernel, shell, etc., in accordance with procedures set out by the Company.

Plan, schedule, and coordinate all mill maintenance work.

Responsible for the maintenance of the mill.

Monitor general housekeeping and compound upkeep of the mill.

Communicate and liaise with government agencies and relevant bodies as required.

Establish and maintain good working relationships with all business associates, including FFB suppliers, contractors, government officials, and the local community.

Ensure safety requirements within the mill are met.

Develop and maintain a budget for the mill.

Manage teams and ensure positive morale among employees.

Involved in hiring, retaining employees, and managing performance benchmarks of mill staff.

Handle projects related to mill refurbishment or new project development.

Prepare management reports to monitor and control mill operations.

Ensure hygiene and feed quality standards are followed at the mill.

Perform any ad hoc duties assigned by Managers or Directors.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years experience as a Mill Manager in a Palm Oil Mill.
• Proven experience with in-depth knowledge of industry requirements.
• Able to lead and manage teams across various departments.
• Willing to travel and relocate as required.
• Able to work on shifts, weekends, and odd hours.
