About the role

As a Midwife (Bidang Sakit Puan & Bersalin) at HOSPITAL BERSALIN DAN POLIKLINIK PUSRAWI KOTA DAMANASARA, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to women during pregnancy, labour, and the postpartum period. This full-time role is based in Kota Damansara, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns.
  • Assist in normal and assisted deliveries, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor using appropriate assessment tools.
  • Administer medications and interventions as per medical protocols and under supervision.
  • Educate and counsel patients on childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and nursing staff to provide holistic care.
  • Ensure a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach in all patient interactions.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma in Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Nursing Board.
  • Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board (Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia).
  • Previous experience in maternity care is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Working Hours:

  • 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM
