Job summary

Jora Malaysia is expanding its software development team in Kuala Lumpur. We are seeking a mid-level software development engineer with 2–5 years of Flutter experience to join our team and contribute to cross-platform mobile applications.

You will work closely with the CTO and senior engineers, building reactive UI using providers such as GetX, Provider, or Bloc, integrating RESTful APIs and Firebase services, and ensuring performance and code quality across the product.

Qualifications

• Tertiary graduate in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in cross-platform software development using the Flutter framework, and still actively using up-to-date Flutter.
• Familiar with reactive user interface programming using state management solutions such as Provider, GetX, Bloc, or similar.
• Familiar with RESTful API standards and usage.
• Working knowledge of Firebase, including Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English is preferred for technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and unit test Flutter applications with Firebase and Google Cloud services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver feature-rich, user-friendly apps.
• Work with UI/UX to implement responsive interfaces for cross-platform experiences.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure app stability and responsiveness.
• Integrate backend services and RESTful APIs to provide reactive user interfaces.
• Maintain code quality with clear documentation and coding standards.
• Stay updated with Flutter releases and evolving cloud services.
