Process Technician oversees manufacturing processes, focusing on optimizing efficiency, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring quality standards. Recommending process procedures and modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products and accessories.

• Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
• Developing manufacturing processes that are applicable to best manufacturing practices and developing those techniques.
• Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new or revised products including training team members and following up with results.
• Performing engineering tests and preparing reports.
• Performing root analysis, suggesting actions and disposition of product to production, quality and/or engineering.
• Performing other such duties as may be appropriate for this position.

• Good understanding of production / manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Good understanding of improvement tools (Lean tools).
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.

• Diploma or higher in any Engineering with minimum 1-year relevant experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills in English verbally and in writing.
• Able to communicate in Malay language.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

• Employees work primarily in a manufacturing environment, within a well-ventilated area, and are exposed to moderate noise levels.
• Ensure all activities are performed in a manner that does not create unnecessary environmental impacts.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental operational controls and compliance with applicable legal and other requirements.
• Communicate clear roles and responsibilities for environmental control.

• Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
• Travel and fieldwork including international travel; therefore employee must possess or can acquire a valid passport.
