Job Overview

Summary:
High-speed cable extrusion process development requires the ability to independently make samples and qualify tooling/products. Must be capable of analysis and report creation, actively improving processes and reducing scrap. Support migration and duplication of the Bulk Cable process (China → Penang). Assist project engineers in achieving targets to successfully introduce new products into mass production.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop extrusion processes including equipment and tooling for NPI.
• Advance bulk cable process technology to support production and new business development.
• Monitor sample making programs and resolve technical issues.
• Create and maintain process documents, SOPs, and VPs based on product drawings and process needs to support bulk cable NPI.

Requirements:

• Associate degree with an engineering background.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in high-speed bulk cable manufacturing.
• Thorough knowledge of extrusion processes.
• Ability to solve critical issues and stabilize processes using tools like FACA, DOE, and SPC.
• Strong logical analysis skills and familiarity with SI.
• Good communication skills, integrity, and accountability.
• Proficiency in evaluation process capabilities, including BOP, P-FMEA, DFM.
• Basic data analysis skills, including CPK, PPK, yield analysis, T-test, tolerance, correlation, and regression.
• Basic reading and writing English skills.
