Responsibilities

  • Provide mechanical engineering support for assembly lines and test/measurement equipment, resolving fit and function issues.
  • Review and revises mechanical specifications as needed.
  • Identify and redesign parts/assemblies to reduce costs and improve quality/yield.
  • Initiate and implements digitalization and automation for enhanced manufacturing excellence.
  • Resolve manufacturing and assembly process issues to meet production yield targets.
  • Design and fabricates assembly tooling to improve quality and productivity.
  • Maintain product-specific documentation for manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in product transfer/NPI projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with advanced experience in product engineering support and documentation (Work Instructions, FMEAs, Control Plans, etc.).
  • Familiar with quality tools and statistical methods (SPC, DOE, Statistical Inference, etc.) for analysis and technical problem-solving.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and critical specifications.
  • Experience in process engineering support and documentation (Work Instructions, FMEAs, Control Plans, etc.).
  • Disciplined, self-motivated, and highly accountable; takes ownership of products and strives to complete tasks within critical timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written) for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work and meet a broad scope of manufacturing objectives in terms of safety, delivery, quality, and cost.
