Job summary

Quasi-S Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a metallurgical specialist to provide technical expertise, conduct research related to engineering and corrosion, and perform failure analysis to establish root causes of equipment failures. You will interpret and evaluate test results, preparing official reports for customers.

Responsibilities include maintaining a full metallurgical laboratory, upholding Good Laboratory Practice, and supporting ISO9001:2015 & ISO/IEC 17025 implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years in related field with failure analysis exposure.
• Experience interpreting test data and preparing reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on metallurgical issues across the organization.
• Conduct research on engineering and corrosion topics.
• Perform failure analysis to determine root cause of equipment failures.
• Interpret and evaluate test results; prepare customer reports.
• Assist ISO9001:2015 & ISO/IEC 17025 implementation.
• Maintain a full metallurgical laboratory; ensure GLP/HK practices.
