Job summary

Systems Limited - APAC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js/Express.js. You will own backend logic, data flow, and API integrations while building scalable full-stack apps with React.js and mobile apps with React Native.

The role requires 4–6 years of hands-on experience, strong MongoDB expertise, and knowledge of JWT/OAuth/RBAC, Git, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js & Express.js.
• Solid knowledge of MongoDB and database design.
• Strong front-end experience with React.js.
• Hands-on experience in React Native for mobile app development.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, and role-based access control.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services & RESTful APIs.
• Own backend logic, data flow, and API integrations.
• Build scalable full-stack web applications using React.js.
• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native (iOS & Android).
• Design and optimise MongoDB schemas and queries.
• Implement authentication, authorisation, and security best practices.
• Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and notifications.
• Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Write clean, modular, testable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
