A leading company in consumer electronics is seeking a motivated Merchandising Planner to manage product activities for small appliances. Responsibilities include planning displays, managing inventory, and collaborating with suppliers. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Merchandising Planner. This role involves planning and coordinating activities related to small appliances, including product selection, pricing, display, promotional offers and clearance. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to plan outlet displays, manage inventory, ensure competitive pricing, and support sales campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage product display, stock holding, clearance activities, promotional offers and clearance of small appliances.
Monitor price list updates; ensure timely and accurate input into the system, as well as communication with sales channels for timely execution.
Handle stock reservations and manage inventory levels to ensure availability and accuracy.
Collaborate with the Campaign Executive to support and execute sales campaigns.
Work closely with suppliers on sales support and claims, ensuring all documentation and processes are in place.
Regularly check supplier portals for fulfilment and billing status; resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with other administrative and paperwork tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Merchandising, Purchasing or a related field, such as Retail Management or Finance.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with relevant experience will have an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong ability in market sensing and timely decision making.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. / 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Additional Support: Able to support weekend ad-hoc events as required
