Responsibilities:

1. Selecting and developing profitable new product lines.
2. Managing relationship with suppliers and negotiating the reductions of goods sold cost.
3. Overall effectiveness of supply chain and cost management.
4. Leading and developing marketing plans.
5. Keep abreast of the current market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity to identify market opportunities.
6. Conducting range reviews and undertaking continuous improvement of the product offer through effective range analysis.
7. Creating effective relationships with outlet staff through regular telephone communication and visits.

Job Requirement:

1. Proven experience as a Category Manager, Buyer, or in a similar role in retail, preferably in a convenience store or mini mart environment.
2. Strong understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, and inventory management.
3. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
4. Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
5. Understanding of Profit and Loss management.
