MERCHANDISING EXECUTIVE (Local)

Responsibilities: To collaborate, deal & negotiate, and maintain relationships with local distributors, suppliers, and national principals; to manage, monitor, and handle total group income whilst ensuring a healthy group replenishment rate; to actively recruit suppliers to participate in outlets activities; understand and overcome supply chain challenges; standardize and close the group's assortment gaps and other ad hoc duties related to the position.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business/Procurement Management/Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in the same or similar field. Experience in a business development role would be an added advantage. Salary RM3K and above.
• Good problem-solving skills, negotiation, and communication skills both internally & externally.
• Able to analyze data.
• Aware of market trends and able to gather useful information.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint).
• Basic calculation skills are required, such as trade offers, contributions, markups, and averages.
• Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
