JOB SUMMARY

In line with the rapid expansion of our retail business in Malaysia, we are seeking a candidate to lead the Skechers Malaysia merchandising team in apparel and accessories.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan merchandising for all new stock arrivals to stores based on sales volume, market needs, location, spending power, and seasonal buying patterns.
  • Coordinate with marketing, operations, and frontliners for ongoing promotions and stock planning across departmental stores.
  • Conduct store visits to ensure optimal stock levels for sales.
  • Prepare and update monthly product launch charts and perform sell-through and sales analyses.
  • Monitor sales performance across all categories to ensure viability relative to size allocation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a merchandiser in the retail industry.
  • Experience in stock control and reporting is advantageous.
  • Preferably specialized in merchandising, product planning, sales retail, or related fields.
  • Independent, self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and computer literacy.
  • Diploma or Degree qualification is required.
