Job description

The Trade Marketing Field Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of product launches, promotional events, and in-store merchandising. This role also supports warehouse inventory operations to ensure effective promotion collateral management. The individual will work closely with sales, marketing, warehouse, and retail teams to ensure consistent brand representation and efficient supply chain coordination.

Responsibilities include:

1. Executing trade marketing plans in the field (e.g., in-store visibility, promotions, POSM execution).
2. Coordinating with sales teams and retailers at ground level.
3. Monitoring compliance and effectiveness of marketing campaigns in stores.
4. Serving as the link between marketing strategy and on-ground execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Field Merchandising (Retail Outlet Support):
2. Execute visual merchandising and planogram standards in retail outlets.
3. Ensure proper display and stock levels for all products, especially during new launches and promotional campaigns.
4. Monitor competitor activities and report market insights.
5. Establish strong relationships with retail staff to secure premium display areas.
6. Conduct regular store visits to audit product placement, pricing, and visibility.
7. Coordinate with sales team and execute in-store and off-site promotional events and product launches.
8. Liaise with internal & external stakeholders, suppliers, and event partners for logistics and booth setup.
9. Support sampling, product demos, and customer engagement activities as needed.
10. Provide post-event reports including insights, learnings, and feedback.
11. Inventory & Warehouse Support:
12. Assist in managing and tracking POSMs in warehouse/office.
13. Coordinate POSMs & FOC premiums movement from warehouse to outlets for new product launches, promotions, and roadshows.
14. Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies of POSMs and FOC premiums.
15. Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure proper labeling, packing, and storage of promotional materials and samples.
