Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an experienced MEP Manager for a data centre project in Johor, Malaysia. You will oversee design, coordination, installation and commissioning of MEP systems to meet mission-critical requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years in MEP or project management, and hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical distribution, UPS, generators and fire protection. Local codes compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in MEP engineering or project management.
• Experience in data centre or mission-critical industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, UPS, generators, and fire protection.
• Familiarity with commissioning and integrated systems testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEP systems including HVAC, power, UPS, generators, fire protection, and plumbing.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Review and validate MEP drawings and specs.
• Monitor progress, budget, and schedule.
• Lead testing and commissioning for mission-critical systems.
• Ensure compliance with data centre standards and local codes.
• Manage issue resolution and site coordination.
