Job summary

AG STAFFING is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer for a data centre construction project in JB. The role coordinates installation, testing, and balancing of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring seamless integration with building design.

You will bridge disciplines, review drawings, support commissioning from Level 1 to Level 5, and resolve on-site issues with RFIs, coordinating with contractors, clients, and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day installation activities for all MEP trades on the construction floor.
• Monitor subcontractor performance against the master construction schedule to prevent delays.
• Cross-check structural, architectural, and MEP drawings to identify and resolve spatial clashes before installation using digital models.
• Assist the commissioning agent during the critical Level 1 to Level 5 data centre commissioning phases.
• Resolve technical engineering issues and coordinate RFIs between site teams, clients, and consultants.

The MEP Engineer coordinates the installation, testing, and balancing of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. This role bridges the gap between different engineering disciplines, ensuring that power, cooling, and water infrastructure integrate perfectly into the building design.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Coordination: Oversee and coordinate day-to-day installation activities for all MEP trades on the construction floor.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor subcontractor performance against the master construction schedule to prevent delays.
• Design Review: Cross-check structural, architectural, and MEP drawings to identify and resolve spatial clashes before installation using digital models.
• Testing & Commissioning (T&C): Assist the commissioning agent during the critical Level 1 to Level 5 data centre commissioning phases.
• Problem Solving: Resolve technical engineering issues and coordinate requests for information (RFIs) between site teams, clients, and consultants.
