Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a skilled professional for electrical and mechanical systems design. The role involves preparing IFC design packages, conducting clash detection, and supporting MEP BOQ preparation.

Candidates should possess a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience in construction consulting. Proficiency in Revit BIM modeling software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare IFC design packages for electrical and mechanical systems under guidance of relevant Engineering personnel
• Conduct complete clash detection & produce coordinated drawings.
• Support preparation of MEP BOQs
• Develop As built drawings by conducting actual installation measurements
• Working with subcontractors, MEP Engineers, QAQC, Safety engineers & Vertiv procurement team

Decision Making Responsibilities

Decisions are made through standard operating procedures. Limits decision through instructions from superior.

Education & Certifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency certificate in Revit BIM modeling software

Requirements

• Basic knowledge on Power/Mechanical Engineering
• Competency & experience in Revit BIM modeling software
• Knowledgeable with relevant local and international electrical/ mechanical codes and standards
• At least 5 years of experience in a construction/consulting firm
