Job description

- Oversee and direct MEP subcontractors from the time of contract award to the project’s completion
- Check shop designs and submittals for compliance and completeness before installation
- Take overall responsibility for the performance and quality control of all MEP trades.
- Take part in the change order and cost review procedures in relation to the MEP trades. Helps the project manager estimate change orders as needed..
- Keeps an eye on the MEP system’s installation, startup, and commissioning while working with the owner and engineer.
- Coordinate the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety standards
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to integrate MEP systems into overall project design
- Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Manage project documentation related to MEP coordination
