Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Typically 7–10 years of experience in engineering design/solutions or related fields.
• Six Sigma and APICS certifications are preferred.
• Strong knowledge in Agile, Lean Manufacturing, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or provide expertise to cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle from NPI to end-of-life.
• Review designs and activities for compliance with manufacturing standards; provide actionable feedback.
• Identify problems in manufacturing processes and drive effective resolutions.
• Track manufacturing performance metrics and report to management.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced partners for manufacturing and development.
• Offer guidance to improve product quality and mitigate risk of failure.

The role provides essential feedback on compliance, and ensures product quality and risk mitigation.
