Job description

Job Title: Medical Representative

We are seeking a persuasive and customer-oriented Medical Representative to cover the GP channel in the following areas:

Coverage Areas

Georgetown, Jelutong, Simpang Ampat, Nibong Tebal, Kepala Batas, Kulim, Sg Petani, Langkawi

Key Responsibilities
  1. Achieve annual sales targets.
  2. Manage territory effectively through daily field calls and review calls, following assigned itineraries to ensure optimal coverage at minimal cost and time.
  3. Plan and execute ethical promotional activities such as CMEs and product presentations to healthcare providers to meet business objectives.
  4. Generate new accounts, increase product penetration, and sustain sales in hospitals and clinics within the assigned area.
  5. Provide professional customer service through regular coverage, responding effectively to physicians’ needs and queries.
  6. Monitor sales and promotional activities against plans and targets, taking proactive measures as needed.
  7. Follow and implement all sales and marketing activities directed by the Sales Manager and Business Unit Head.
  8. Update management on customer, competitor, and market changes within the territory.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Possess a Degree, preferably in science-related studies.
  2. Fresh graduates or 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceuticals or a related field.
  3. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  4. High self-confidence, dynamic, and energetic to thrive in a competitive market.
  5. Ability to work independently while adhering to tight deadlines and managing conflicting demands.
  6. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
