About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Officer to join the compassionate team at Medilove Clinic in Ipoh, Perak. As a Medical Officer, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive primary care to our diverse patient population. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of our community.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and consultations to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans in collaboration with patients
  • Provide health education and promote preventative care to empower patients to take an active role in their health
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards
  • Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers when necessary
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay informed of the latest medical advancements and best practices
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for both patients and colleagues

What we're looking for

  • Malaysia Medical Council (MMC) registration and a valid annual practising certificate
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Officer in a primary care or family medicine setting
  • Excellent clinical skills and the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach to healthcare delivery
