About our client
Our client is a Singapore-based healthcare multinational supporting companies in the healthcare sector with marketing & commercial solutions across SEA & India. They focus on sales, marketing, and distribution of Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Diagnostics & OTC products, with operations in SEA, Middle East, and North Africa, and plans for global expansion.
Position: Medical Manager MYSG
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining assigned product(s) and therapeutic areas through participation in meetings, congresses, seminars, and self-study of literature.
- Providing expert medical/scientific advice, responding to technical requests, and contributing to the development of scientific documentation.
- Supporting internal teams with scientific updates and collaborating across functions while maintaining independence.
- Establishing relationships with healthcare professionals and academic centers, participating in scientific events and advisory boards.
- Delivering scientific presentations and medical education programs.
- Screening literature and summarizing key scientific messages for internal use.
- Training sales and other departments, developing training materials.
- Participating in Medical/Brand planning, managing project timelines, budgets, and compliance.
- Overseeing the review and approval of investigator-initiated studies and promotional materials.
- Providing input into marketing strategies and monitoring competitive intelligence.
- Responding to healthcare professional inquiries and supporting pharmacovigilance initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree required.
- 1-2 years post-qualification experience in Medical Affairs preferred.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment.
- Strong presentation, teaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical skills to evaluate clinical data effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technology.
- Position based in Malaysia; coverage includes Malaysia (60%) and Singapore (40%).
