Job summary

Innoquest Pathology in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our clinical team. You will perform a variety of tests and guide junior technologists, ensuring accuracy through QC and instrument calibration.

The role requires a Biomedical Science degree and 2–3 years in a laboratory, with a willingness to work rotational shifts; supervisory experience is a plus. This full-time position offers health benefits and opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Guide junior technologists for procedures and test guidelines.

Job description

• Serve as a point of guidance to junior technologists/scientists for clinical laboratory procedures and test guidelines.
• Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests.
• Perform quality control on test results, ensuring validity and accuracy.
• Perform calibration and troubleshooting on testing systems and instruments to ensure adherence to established standards of accuracy.
• Perform job-related duties as assigned by the Lab Manager.

Key Requirements:

• Degree (Medical Lab Scientist) in Biomedical Science or equivalent science courses.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in laboratory department.
• Experience in a supervisory positions will be an added advantage.
• Able to work on rotational shift.
