Job summary

OPTIMAX EYE SPECIALIST CENTRE is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant to organize daily clinic operations and provide nursing care to patients in Bandar Sunway, Selangor. You will assist doctors during procedures and respond swiftly to emergencies, ensuring safety and high standards of care.

At least a Diploma in Medical Assistant with APC certification and 1 year of related experience is required. Weekend work is expected; 5-day work week applies at the Bandar Sunway location.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Medical Assistant or equivalent.
• Post basic qualification in OT is preferred.
• Valid APC certification is required.
• At least 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage clinic day-to-day works.
• Provide effective nursing care and assistance to patients.
• Assist doctors during medical and nursing procedures.
• Demonstrate ability to handle emergency situations promptly and professionally.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain a safe clinical environment.
• Assist in stock control and prepare stock reports.
• Perform other tasks as requested.

Organize and manage clinic day-to-day works.

Assist Doctors during medical & nursing procedures.

Demonstrates ability and appropriate technical skills when administering treatment and procedures, able to handle emergency situations in a prompt, precise and professional manner.

Ensure patient safety and execute appropriate action to ensure safe environment.

To assist in stock control and prepare stock report.

To perform other tasks as and when requested.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Medical Assistant or equivalent and prefer candidate with post basic qualification in OT.

Possess a valid APC.

At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Salary commensurate with working experiences.

Able to work on weekends
