About the job: Media Social and Marketing Executive

Location: Kuala Lumpur

The Social Media & Marketing Junior Executive will be responsible for:

  1. Creating engaging and creative content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  2. Managing and monitoring social media accounts, including posting updates, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing engagement metrics.
  3. Assisting in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads.
  4. Conducting market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences to inform social media and marketing strategies.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, copywriters, and marketing managers, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and campaign execution.
  6. Monitoring social media channels for customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints, and providing timely and appropriate responses to maintain a positive brand reputation.
  7. Analyzing campaign performance data and preparing comprehensive reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media efforts and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a social media & marketing executive or similar role.
  3. Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
  4. Proficiency in social media management and marketing tools.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Creative mindset with the ability to design visually appealing content.
  7. Understanding of the orthopedic implant and medical device industry is a plus.
