Job summary

Job description

You will carry out Mechanical Engineering works including attend breakdowns, conducting line walk inspection and performing Corrective, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver safely the outputs expected in the Manufacturing Excellence and business plan on day-to-day basis consistent.
  • Deliver continuous improvement outcomes mechanical maintenance.
  • Full involvement in Corrective, Preventive & Predictive maintenance.
  • To perform line walk in every shift and all findings to be logged in Maintenance Punchlist.
  • To carry out task related to mechanical highlight by Area Owner during shift period.
  • Leads a team of Fitters and Contractors to execute specific projects and maintenance task.
  • To perform Isolation and Deisolation of Mechanical equipment.
  • Demonstrate troubleshooting, team player, planning, contract supervision and analytical skills.
  • Actively contributes to root cause analysis to resolve breakdowns and drive long-term equipment reliability.
  • Carry out duties as and when directed by the management.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related disciplines.
  • Experience with maintenance of heavy industrial equipment, e.g., Hydraulic and Pneumatic system is an added advantage.
  • Excellent organizing / supervision of major maintenance activities to ensure timely and effective execution.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
