Job summary

Turner & Townsend Malaysia seeks a Senior Mechanical Project Lead to oversee mechanical delivery for large-scale cooling infrastructure in Cyberjaya. You will lead execution strategies, schedules, procurement plans, and coordination with consultants, vendors and contractors to meet performance targets and client requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 12–15 years of mechanical project delivery experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale cooling infrastructure.
• Proven management of mechanical construction packages.
• Experience with greenfield and brownfield mission critical projects.
• Demonstrated success leading large mechanical subcontractor and commissioning team.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mechanical project activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop execution strategies, schedules, procurement plans, and construction methodologies.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensure mechanical systems meet performance and redundancy requirements.
• Review mechanical designs and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Evaluate design modifications and value engineering opportunities.
• Monitor installation quality and compliance with approved drawings.
• Lead mechanical testing, TAB, integrated systems testing, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate turnover documentation and client acceptance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Drive QA/QC processes for mechanical installations.
• Support implementation of safety programs and site requirements.
