Evyap Malaysia invites a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliability, availability, and safe operation of plant equipment through proactive maintenance planning and continuous improvement. You will work across maintenance planning, execution, and cost control in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in continuous process plants preferred.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, static equipment, and piping systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAP-PM for maintenance planning and work management.
• Familiarity with RCA tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of vibration analysis and condition monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good coordination and communication with internal teams, contractors, OEMs, and external service providers.
• Experience in plant shutdowns and turnaround maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting PM, PdM, TBM and Turnaround planning.
• Coordinate manpower, contractors, materials, and spare parts for daily and planned maintenance.
• Analyse equipment failure trends and vibration data.
• Prepare specifications for major equipment repair or refurbishment.
• Lead breakdown analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with OEMs for support and warranty.
• Track KPIs (MTBF, MTTR) and drive improvements.
• Monitor maintenance budget and spare parts inventory.
• Perform SAP-PM planner role.
• Lead plant shutdowns and statutory inspections, coordinating with authorities.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and records for audits.
