Job summary

1. Prepare monthly shutdown job lists based on work requests, equipment condition, and engineering needs; review with superiors and project costs.

2. Monitor maintenance activities during shutdown, submitting hourly progress updates.

3. Compile and plan work requests and manpower for daily maintenance, benchmarking standard hours.

4. Inform the Maintenance Manager or Engineers about delays in adjusting plans and resources.

5. Review all work requests for completeness and collaborate with the Engineers to schedule.

6. Raise purchase requests and monitor routine maintenance with outside contractors.

7. Prepare shutdown organization chart and Microsoft Project projection for pre-shutdown meetings.

8. Lead post-shutdown meetings and prepare shutdown documentation.

9. Coordinate with procurement for material availability before shutdown.

10. Develop integrated maintenance schedules, timelines, and resource plans.

11. Ensure completed work orders are filled out and returned promptly.

12. Anticipate issues related to maintenance or manpower.

13. Collaborate with consultants and contractors for project execution, including scheduling and reporting.

14. Promote a strong work ethic and mechanical skills while minimizing reactive maintenance.

15. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and lead by example.

16. Prepare various maintenance reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually).

17. Plan and requisition maintenance materials as needed.

18. Work with the Purchasing Manager to manage spare parts inventoryandorders.
