Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design and develop antennas for two-way radios, supporting products with mechanical simulations, drawings, and testing.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years of mechanical design experience, and familiarity with RF equipment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Mechanical design.
• Experience with mechanical simulations e.g. CAD, 3D modeling.
• Preparing mechanical prints and drawings with specifications and testing requirements.
• Well versed in analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of material properties.
• Familiar with RF equipment such as CMW, network analyzer and spectrum analyzer; good team spirit, good communications and interpersonal skills; able to work with cross-functional teams.

Job Description

• Responsible for the design and development of two-way radios' antennas to be used by all products.
• Mechanical design, simulation, optimization, validation and test activities associated with the antenna development will be required to ensure products compliance to reliability and regulatory standards.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above majoring in Mechanics and Forces, Thermal and Fluids, Control System or similar related areas.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Mechanical design.
• Experienced with mechanical simulations eg. CAD, 3D modeling, etc.
• Preparing mechanical prints and drawings with specifications and testing requirements.
