Neuron Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for data centre and mission critical environments in Johor. You will operate and maintain CRAC/CRAH, chillers, pumps, AHU, and water treatment systems while following safety standards.
You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect facilities, coordinate with vendors, and respond to alarms. Knowledge of BMS and safe practices is essential.
Operate, monitor, and maintain critical mechanical systems, including CRAC, CRAH, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHU, water treatment systems, and other associated mechanical equipment.
Perform routine inspections and preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Coordinate and supervise vendors during maintenance and repair works.
Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with established procedures.
Execute Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP) during cooling system failures and mechanical emergencies.
Support the recovery and stabilization of cooling systems following outages or maintenance activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and abnormal operating conditions to minimize service disruption.
Monitor the performance of mechanical systems through BMS and other monitoring platforms.
Identify equipment abnormalities, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cooling system reliability, efficiency, and availability.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and incident reports.
Assist in developing and updating SOP, MOP, and EOP documentation.
Ensure compliance with LOTO procedures, safety regulations, and company policies.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Data Centre, Critical Facilities, or Mission Critical environment.
Strong knowledge of critical mechanical systems, including CRAC, CRAH, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, AHU, and water treatment systems.
Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and mechanical monitoring systems.
Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices, mechanical troubleshooting, and safety standards.
