Mechanical Engineer

Currently, our client who's MNC from Japan, specialize in semiconductor and silicon related products manufacturing and R&D, has newly established a new branches at Pasir Gudang, and they're looking for R&D Engineer, Process Engineer, CNC Programmer, Production Engineer, and Quality Engineer roles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products.
2. Create technical drawings, 2D to 3D models, and prototypes using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
3. Participate in R&D section, pricing, process improvement, and production management.
4. Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
5. Evaluate design feasibility and suggest improvements.
6. Develop and maintain technical documentation and project reports.
7. Troubleshoot design or production issues and implement effective solutions.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. 2–3 years of relevant working experience; experience in semiconductor industry is more preferable.
3. Must-have requirements: Proficient in SolidWorks.
4. Experience in one or more of the following: CMM Machine, CNC Machine, or Semiconductor Industry.
5. Experience in one or more of the following: R&D, Pricing, Process Improvement, or Technical Drawing.
6. Fluent in BOTH English and Mandarin (spoken and written), in order to have smooth conversation with internal team and China support team.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
