Job Summary:

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, reliability, and safety of all mechanical and electrical systems in the facility. This role involves conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventive maintenance plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and utility systems to ensure optimal performance.

· Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or failures promptly to minimize downtime.

· Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

· Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, servicing, and repairs.

· Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation of all activities.

· Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies during all maintenance work.

· Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

· Provide technical support and training to production teams as needed.

Key Requirements:

· Education:Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or a related field).

· Experience:Minimum 2–3 years in generator set maintenance or engineering rol

· Skills:

o Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

o Good problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.

· Certifications:Relevant certifications in electrical or mechanical systems are an advantage.

· Others:Willingness to work on-call or during weekends if required.

Working Conditions:

· Based on-site at industrial or manufacturing facilities.

· May involve working in noisy, hot, or confined environments depending on the equipment.

· Occasional overtime or emergency call-outs.
