Job summary

A leading company in the engineering sector is seeking a qualified M&E Coordinator. This role involves managing all M&E activities, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and coordinating with subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, effective communication skills, and at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all M&E works and prepare corresponding documents.
• Arrange inspections with M&E consultants and communicate with subcontractors.
• Identify hazards and ensure communication regarding OHSAS management system.

Job description

Report to the M&E manager and be responsible for assigned M&E activities.

Coordinate all M&E works.

Prepare all M&E correspondences.

Arrange inspections with M&E Consultants.

Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of all M&E services.

Communicate with the M&E subcontractor regarding Rimbaco’s OHSAS management system.

Identify hazards and risks related to M&E work and ensure they are communicated to the subcontractor and followed.

Support and be aware of the Quality and Safety management system.

Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Team player, able to work independently, and meet tight deadlines.

At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
