Job description

We are looking to hire a Mechanical Designer with strong design and technical skills. The candidate should understand basic mechanical engineering concepts and be eager to enhance their design and engineering experience.

To ensure success, the Mechanical Designer should be willing to travel to sites for hands-on experience. The candidate should have an understanding of thermodynamics, a keen interest in mechanical engineering and design, and the ability to self-study.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Design and develop mechanical systems and machines
2. Create technical drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations
3. Collaborate with project teams on schedules and deliverables
4. Convert concepts into 2D/3D CAD designs with accurate BOMs
5. Prepare layout and installation drawings
6. Lead projects from design through to final delivery
7. Work with sales to develop design proposals
8. Maintain organized drawing files and documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering
• Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with mechanical design software
• Good leadership qualities, commitment, and responsibility
• Creative thinking and innovation
• Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills
