Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall planning and design management of data center projects, including defining design schemes, organizing design processes, and reviewing construction plans; manage HVAC equipment bidding.
  • Conduct preliminary planning for data centers, including capacity and reliability analysis, as well as technical cost control.
  • Establish, maintain, and iterate HVAC professional design management systems, design standards, and manuals for data centers.
  • Research and apply new HVAC technologies within data centers.
  • Manage the lifecycle design of data centers to ensure project timelines, optimize costs, and enhance quality.
  • Provide technical support and communication on HVAC engineering at construction sites, ensuring the practicality of on-site solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; knowledgeable in (green) data center industry standards and regulations; familiar with national design specifications, TIA-942 standards, and Uptime Tier criteria.
  • Over 8 years of experience in HVAC design management, with a track record of independently completing large-scale HVAC system planning and detailed construction design; proficient in system principles, load calculations, and familiar with major electrical equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and air conditioning terminals.
  • Strong understanding of liquid cooling systems, including design capabilities; experience with liquid cooling projects of over 10 MW is preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing design rules and standards, managing design teams, and contributing to national or industry standards within design institutes, architectural consulting firms, or data center engineering companies is preferred.
  • Experience in domestic data centers and large-scale projects is advantageous; strong English communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Passionate about the data center industry; possesses excellent communication and coordination skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to work effectively in international teams; proactive attitude with the ability to thrive under pressure.
