Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in CAD systems, particularly SolidWorks.
• Understanding of ISO norms; CE knowledge is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in electrical and pneumatic drive technology.
• Familiar with mechatronic assembly design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop assembly mock-ups and components.
• Manage smaller development project tasks.
• Prepare manufacturing documents including drawings and BOMs.
• Conduct hazard analysis and ensure compliance with CE regulations.
• Update and maintain manufacturing documents.

Job description

Based in Melaka

Responsibilities

• Design & development of assembly groups mock-ups
• Designing and dimensioning of drives and components
• Specify suitable, even complex purchase parts
• Design review and assembly releases
• Preparation and examination of manufacturing documents (detail drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, assembly and test instructions)
• Preparation of pneumatic circuit diagrams
• Preparation of sensors and action list for electronic design
• Execution of hazard analysis and risk assessment according to CE regulations
• Development of new mechanical applications via hardware (guiding, pneumatic applications, springs & etc.) in line with the technological changes
• Defining of spare and wear parts
• Carry out change and error reports
• Update manufacturing documents and drawings
• Preparation of customer specific, internal requests BOMs
• Project management of smaller development projects
• Other tasks assigned by superior

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge in CAD-system, especially SolidWorks
• Knowledge about ISO-norms. CE knowledge is an advantage
• Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic drive technology
• Multidisciplinary knowledge for design of mechatronics assembly groups (together with electronics design and software department)
• Self-organized and independent
• Show inter-department team spirit while solving complex tasks
