Job summary

Vertiv in Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop IFC mechanical design packages and guide factory engineers through installation, testing and commissioning for data center projects. You will work with local and regional engineering and product teams to sustain current designs and ensure project success.

The role requires around 5 years of experience in mechanical construction and design, with a strong understanding of cooling and ventilation solutions for data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Around 5 years of experience in mechanical construction projects.
• Experience in mechanical design for data center cooling solutions.

Responsibilities

• Produce Issued For Construction (IFC) drawing packages.
• Sustain engineering of current production designs.
• Review Mechanical BOQs.
• Provide technical guidance to factory engineers, subcontractors, project managers, QAQC, Safety engineers & Vertiv procurement team.
• Develop testing and commissioning documents.
