Job summary

A leading logistics technology firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop design proposals based on customer requirements and design warehouse solutions. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and proficiency in AutoCAD. This role requires Mandarin, and familiarity with English and Malay is also preferred. Experience is not required, but willingness to travel is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or Mechanical Maintenance.
• Proficiency in using CAD 2D/3D software.
• Willingness to travel when required.

• Design equipment details and organize BOM according to customer PO specifications.
• Plan and design warehouse and logistics solutions.
• Manage projects (PM).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Working Experience: Not required.
• Field of Study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or Mechanical Maintenance.
• Language Proficiency: Mandarin is mandatory. Proficiency in English and Malay is also required.
• Proficiency in Tools: AutoCAD.
• Willing to travel when required.
• Work Skills: Not required.

Other Requirements

• Proficient in using CAD 2D/3D software and office application software.
• Experience in non-standard automation equipment design is an advantage.
• Experience in logistics is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in mechanical design and drafting is an advantage.
